- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1⁄2 cup chopped onion
- 1 lb cooked ground turkey
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons cumin
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄8 teaspoon texas pete hot sauce
- 1 (15 ounce) can navy beans, dranied
- 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, dranied
- 1 (15 ounce) can white corn, drained
- 1 (16 ounce) can chicken broth
- 1 (4 ounce) can green chilies, drained
- 3⁄4 cup quick cooking wild rice, uncooked
directions
- Heat olive oil in soup ot over medium /high heat, add onion, saute for 5 minutes.
- stir in turkey and the next 8 ingredience (all but the rice).
- bring to boil, cover and reduce heat to simmer for 15 minutes.
- stir in wild rice, simmer 20 minutes or until rice is done.
