Mexican Turkey Taco Meat

"This is creamy & just plain awesome. It can be made almost fat free if desired with lean turkey, ff sour cream and ff cream cheese. This is great to have in the fridge for a quick burrito."

  • Chop jalapeno, peppers and onion.
  • Mix jalapeno, peppers and onion with minced garlic, turkey, chili, cumin and black pepper.
  • Heat skillet to high and cook turkey mixture until no longer pink.
  • Remove skillet from heat and stir in sour cream, cream cheese and cilantro.

  1. Very good taco meat! I added the adobo sauce to the mix with the chile and it definitely came out VERY spicy. Too much for me, but my DH proclaimed it the best taco night ever.
     
  2. I've made this a number of times now and love it. I usually add 1 whole yellow and 1 whole red pepper and wrap this mixture up in whole wheat tortillas and serve with guacamole.
