Not even close. I live in Plattsburgh NY . Home of the original Michigan and this is not it. If you want the recipe try this : 2lbs burger - 1 tsp cumin - 1 tbls onion flakes - 1tsp black pepper - 3/4 tsp garlic salt - 1/4 cup of "Franks" hot sauce - 16 oz can of tomato sauce. NO Chili powder!! Brown the burger and drain. Add all the other ingredients and simmer for ten minutes. Serve over hotdogs. I like mine with mustard and onions buried.

I first had this sauce years ago with my sister-in-law in Plattsburgh, New York..How I begged for the recipe!! I lost it over the years and was thrilled to find it here. Thanks MFL666 this is an awesome sauce. I freeze in ziploc bags with enough for a package of hot dogs as it get hotter each time you re-heat.
