“Here's a great way to doctor up a brownie mix when you need dessert in a flash. I made mine in the oven instead of the microwave because I used a regular fudge brownie mix--not a microwave mix. Ingredients Nutrition
- 19 1⁄2 ounces fudge brownie mix (with pan)
- 1⁄2 cup oil
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 2 eggs
- 1⁄4 cup pecans, chopped
- 1⁄3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons pecans, chopped
- 2 tablespoons caramel ice cream topping
Directions
- Combine brownie mix, oil, water, and eggs in large bowl. Stir 50 strokes with a spoon.
- Stir in 1/4 cup pecans.
- Spread batter evenly in pan provided with mix (I used my own pan and greased it).
- Microwave as directed on package or bake in 9x9" pan for 30 to 35 minutes (follow package directions for pan size and desired thickness).
- Remove from microwave and place on flat surface.
- Immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips.
- Let stand 5 minutes.
- Spread softened chips evenly over brownies.
- Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons pecans.
- Drizzle with caramel topping.
