  1. Really good recipe & I love that it's made in the microwave. It's something DD will eat & it's fast enough that she was able to wait for it. :) I used a granny smith so next time I might add a bit of brown sugar to balance the tartness a bit. Probably a sweeter apple would be plenty sweetness next time too. I had to sub cranberries for the raisins and just used a couple pecans for garnish, although they were really good with this recipe. We'll be making this again & again! Thanks for posting, Char! Made & enjoyed for the Diabetic Forum's Harvest Moon Apple Festival event.

  2. Apples and raisins in oatmeal - a very good idea! I made this morning since I needed something in a rush and this made a delightful and healthy breakfast. I put everything into a 2qt dish - it took 11 minutes in a 1300wt microwave. I made no changes to the recipe.

  3. Oh this is good! You beat me to posting this recipe. I have made this tons of times! Never fails, I always like it. I sometimes use 1/2 cup of natural applesauce if I feel really lazy in the morning and don't want to chop an apple.
