Microwave Freshen-up Hot Towels

"With the winters and snow in USA and the weather getting as pleasant as it can here in Muscat, I thought this would be a great time to share this non-food recipe. Let me know how you and your guests liked this one. Why not offer dinner guests a hot towel at the end of a meal?"

  1. The Japanese use these as a cloth to wipe your face when done with meals. Use a little lemon in it too! :)

  2. While using the towels after a meal is a great idea, the Japanese use them before a meal to freshen up after a long day. This way you can wash face and hands before eating and be relaxed in the process. Most folks who are guests in your home will have already "cleaned up" before arriving. If folks are coming directly from playing golf, soccer, etc. Having the towels before is a welcome treat! susan

  3. I especially enjoyed these when presented them after dinner on first class flights, and love the idea of serving them at the end of an entertaining home meal! Bravo for the reminder!!
