"Delicious cooked apples with just the right amount of sweet and tart. This is a favorite recipe that is very easy to make (especially if you have an apple peeler)."

 1. Nice flavor, not to sweet, I used brown sugar rather than white. Served it with grilled pork and liked it quite a bit. Thank you.

 2. This was terrific with baked ham, and super easy! Since I need to avoid carbs, I substituted Swwet 'n Low Brown and it worked fine.

 3. Excellent and Easy!! Made these for desert one night and served with ice cream, my son love them so much that he asks for them so often I showed him how make them and now he makes them for himself.

 4. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!! I used to make these and always knew something was missing...it was the CORNSTARCH! I love these b/c they are not too sweet...just right for my taste. Of course the kids loved them and asked for thirds.

 5. Excellent with pork schnitzel, mushroom and mustard spaetzle. I made half a recipe and it was enough for the two of us with a little left over. Will make this easy and tasty dish many, many times.

I live in the Kansas City area and have many hobbies including cooking, reading and spending time with my husband and two children who are very active in sports now. I also have an eBay business which is a fun hobby that makes a little extra money! My interest in cooking focuses on making healthy dishes that are more satisfying than the higher fat and higher sugar versions. If I had a month off with no responsibilities, I would spend it at a luxury spa.
