Midori Martini

"This is a refreshing drink made with just two ingredients. I think that the recipe as written is a little too sweet, so I add another 1/2 ounce of vodka."

  1. Drank a couple and now I'm seeing 3 leprechauns and gnome-ish figure in my kitchen. Happy St. Patrick's Day 2015!

  2. This was pretty good. I enjoyed it very much. Midori alone is a bit too sweet & I agree with Nick's Mom that the vodka toned it down a bit. I also love how simple it is. Thank you for sharing!

  3. Wow, this will grow that hair on my chest. lol I store my vodka in the freezer, so it was ice cold. I just poured a jigger of both in a glass, added a little ice, swirled. It was wonderful. Now, I'm waiting for the ice to melt slightly, which would have been accomplished had I used room temp. vodka; filled the shaker with ice; done as instructed. Still, the taste is divine, and in a few minutes, after the ice melts slightly, it will be even more divine. Thanks, lazyme, for a lovely summer drink.

  4. Perfect. We both liked it :) THank you :)

  5. This was a nice mellow cocktail. I agree the extra 1/2 ounce of vodka cuts the sweetness of the Midori. It was a nice way to end a busy day. Than You for sharing. Nick's Mom
