  1. Add ingredients in order listed to medium saucepan over medium heat. (Don’t turn burner up too high so as not to bubble or curdle sauce.)
  2. Gradually increase heat as needed, and stir constantly.
  3. Once sauce is warm, add parmesan.
  4. Cook penne according to package directions.
  5. Continue stirring until hot.
  6. Pour over warm penne.
  7. Add more parmesan if wanted.
