  1. I hate to give any recipe a negative rating so i wont rate, in case it was me who messed it up somehow. I followed the recipe as listed and was not very impressed with the resulting drink. The soda tasted flat and just didnt result in anything special. I wont be making this again.

  2. Made these for me and the kids for "Cinco De Mayo".....loved them!

  3. I made this with citrus flavoured miranda. A fun yummy drink. I also blended it with abit of soda and had most of it with a spoon.

  4. I made these for the kids because they like "fancy drinks" too. The first batch I made was WAY too sweet so I cut the sugar in half the second time. Much better but still pretty sweet for a Margarita. I also had to add some regular soda to the frozen to try and get it to mix up in the blender. Never did get it to a "pourable" state but after spooning it into the glasses it was pretty much like eating a Slurpee. I did add one drop each of green and yellow food coloring to give it more of a lime color. A fun, frozen treat!

I live in Texas with my wife and four boys. I love collecting and trying new recipes. When I'm not working, cooking, or playing with my four boys, I enjoy television, movies, reading and surfing the Internet. Since I work the off-shifts (9:00 PM to 8:00 AM) I need fast easy breakfast/lunch type recipes. When I find a new recipe that I think that everyone would enjoy, I will make it. This backfires on me about 90 percent of the time. My cooking challenge is picky eaters (all five of them).
