  1. Excellent stuff! I had a midewy smell in my shower for weeks now. I tried scrubbing, Tilex mildew remover, even bleach, but it would always come back. Now I keep a small spray bottle of this in the bathroom and spray the shower every morning after we're done in there. I have been using this for a couple of weeks, and NO mildew smell!!! HOORAY for Velvetinenut - my hero!

  2. I have used this on the indoor/outdoor carpet in my screened in porch. The only difference is that I used 1 quart of water. The carpet used to smell of mildew a lot, now it hardly does at all! This stuff is great!

  3. I spray this on the carpet before I vacuum to get rid of the musty smell. It's also amazing that a couple days later, all the kitty hair goes in one pile and you can pick it up easily. It's almost like a magnet. I will continue to use this.

  4. I used this on a batch of cloth diapers that I forgot to hang up right away. They sat in the washer overnight and smelled a bit musty. I thought this might be a good solution because tea tree oil is even good for my babies skin (it's in a lot of baby wipe recipes and works well). Diapers are fresh smelling...now if it wasn't raining I could hang them on the clothes line...which whitens better than expensive brand of bleach I have ever used, and is better for the envoronment. Next step the bathroom!

  5. Great idea! I wash my towels separately, as I don't use fabric conditioner on them (they soak water better then). I wonder if anyone has tried to add the tea tree oil in the washing machine - maybe it wouldn't smell so strongly then?

Hey Everyone! Greetings from Sunny Singapore! I'm am so glad to have found this site. It is waaaayyy better than other sites I've been. I have about 240 cookbooks and my faves are the older cookbooks I got from my mom as I prefer from scratch cooking. I have created several cookbooks dedicated to the use of eggs. I have come across a number of recipes requests for using up lots of eggs. So there they are. http://www.recipezaar.com/members/home/123897/Backtattoos.jpg The above is a picture of me at my office's Annual Christmas cum costume party. I won first prize with that orange costume! The one with the (fake) Tattoos was taken in Dec 2007 when I again won first prize. I love spicy food and the many different kinds of chilli dips different foods calls for!! Love baking, cross stitching, trying my hand now in shoe beading and patchwork and now doing a course on aromatherapy. Oh and am now trying to raise a flower and herb garden but it is not easy as I am a newbie at that too! In some of my recipes, you will note that there is a letter in brackets at the beginning of the name. This is what it means : (A) : Aromatherapy/Homeopathic/Less toxic I'm not crazy about recipes using pre-mix cakes as I am a more from-scratch person. My recipes will have the local name (when applicable) as well as the anglicised name, eg "Au Nee (Sweet Yam Paste). If I had a month off, I'd be in Texas.
