  • Place all the ingredients into the pan according to the order in the manufacturer’s directions.
  • Set crust on medium or dark, and program for the Basic cycle; press Start.
  • When the baking cycle ends, immediately remove the bread from the pan and place it on a rack.
  • Let cool to room temperature before slicing.

  1. Excellent recipe! I made slider buns and they turned out delicious! I'm low-carb so I used low-carb white flour and added vital wheat gluten to mimic bread flour, still adding the gluten called for in the recipe. They turned out perfectly soft and chewy. I'm making hot dog buns next!
     
  2. I warmed the milk to lukewarm and added the yeast and sugar to that. Poured the mixture in the bread machine and waited 5- 10 min then added the butter (instead of olive oil), combined the salt, gluten and flour and added that last. This is the best recipe I've tried for sandwiches, came out perfect!
     
  3. Fool proof! To bake it out side of the machine, preheat oven to 450, bake for 10 minutes, open the oven, for about 20 seconds, and lower the heat to 425. Bake for 15 minutes and remove.
     
  4. Marvelous. I just love the texture of milk bread.
