Directions

  1. Set oven to 350 degrees (second-lowest rack).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together garlic, salt and softened butter.
  3. Spread onto both sides of the cut sides of the rolls.
  4. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese (if using).
  5. Put the rolls back together, and wrap in foil separately.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes, then open the foil.
  7. Arrange the halves (cut-side up) on the foil.
  8. Bake for another 10 minutes (or more depending on how crispy you like them).
