  • Divide 1 lb of beef into 9 equal sized balls.
  • Form a patty out of each ball about 4 inches in diameter and 1/4 inch thick.
  • Do this on waxed paper.
  • Now freeze the patties at least a hour (keeps them from falling apart while grilling.).
  • You need two electric griddles.
  • One for meat and one for toasting buns.
  • Pre-heat the meat griddle to 375 F to 400 F and bun griddle about 350 F till light brown.
  • Place dill slices and dried chopped onion one each hamburger.
  • Put on ketchup and mustard with salt and pepper to taste.
