ingredients
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup water
- 1⁄2 cup beef gravy, divided
- 1 (6 ounce) box chicken stove top stuffing mix
- 2 eggs, beaten
- vegetables, of your choice Chopped. I like to use mushrooms and onions (optional) or green pepper, and onions. (optional)
directions
- PREHEAT oven to 400°F
- Saute vegetables (if using) until slightly limp
- Mix water and 1/4 cup gravy in large bowl.
- Add meat, Vegetables (if using) stuffing mix and eggs; mix lightly.
- SHAPE into five oval loaves on foil-covered baking sheet.
- SPOON the other 1/4 cup of gravy over the loaves.
- BAKE 30 minute or until cooked through (160ºF). Slice and serve with your favorite vegetables.
