Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 12 cup crushed Pearson mint patties or 12 cup mint chip
  • Topping
  • 1 cup crushed peppermint pattie
  • crushed candy cane (optional)


  1. Heat oven 350.
  2. Grease 13x9x2 pan.
  3. Micro in a large Pyrex bowl chocolate and butter.
  4. Stir and when melted add sugar blend well.
  5. Add eggs, and vanilla mix well.
  6. Add flour and mint and mix till just combined.
  7. Spread into pan.
  8. Bake 25 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and sprinkle on 3/4 cup mint and spread to coat brownies.
  10. Return to oven just to melt about 1 minute.
  11. Spread the chocolate.
  12. Cool.
  13. Sprinkle with crushed candy canes if using.
  14. Cool and cut into squares.
