  • Steep the teabags in the boiling water until very strong. Add sugar and the juice of the lemons while still hot. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  • Just before serving, add chilled ginger ale to tea mixture.
  • Serve over ice with a mint sprig.

  1. I loved this tea! It reminded me of Lipton's Citrus Iced Tea with a mint kicker. :) The ginger ale is a nice addition with the fizz and ginger that flavored the tea even more. This was a wonderful drink to cool me down on a hot summer afternoon. Made and reviewed for KC's Recipe Tag Game.

  4. I couldn't get fresh mint so used a 50/50 mix of peppermint tea and the regular stuff. The lemon and ginger ale are wonderful. Splenda was used for the sugar along with diet ginger ale. A pure delight.
