Minty Hot Chocolate

"I thought this is so good. When I made this I used a sugar free Andes mint candy and no sugar added hot cocoa mix. I didn't use mint candy or whipped cream and this was still so good. I got this recipe from Woman's World magazine."

  1. This is very, very, very good!! I used whole milk and forgot the whipped cream ( I was too anxious to try it!) and it is very creamy and minty. Thanks- Made for Comfort Cafe 1/2010.

  2. This rated a 5-Star WOW! Loved the creamy mint flavor of the hot chocolate beverage. (Now my DH thought it was too sweet, but he shouldn't be drinking it anyway as he is diabetic). Thanks for posting! Made for the Comfort Cafe's Jan '09 tag game.

  3. Mmmm! I'm enjoying a cup of this right now! What an easy way to make hot chocolate extra special and even more delicious! I just used water for mine and it was still wonderful (but I'm excited to try it with milk sometime too)! I also had Andes mint baking chips on hand instead of the candy, so I just measured out the equivalent for that. I'll make this often-especially in the winter! Thanks very much for the great little recipe!

  4. I love Andes mints, and they make a wonderful addition to this hot chocolate. I used a half and half mixture of the milk and water. Made for January, 2009 Comfort Cafe.
