Miriam's Easy Crock Pot Chicken

"Taken from a Fix it and Forget it Cookbook. Yummy served over croissants and would probably be good over biscuits as well. Turns out with little effort. Makes a lot of creamy sauce. You might be able to cut back a little on the soups, but I usually follow the recipe as directed, since I'd rather have too much sauce than too little. For the soups, use any combination of your favorites--whatever you have on hand--cream of celery, cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, whatever. I have also used reduced fat versions with no problem."

 1. i made half the recipe in my 1 1/2 qt crock. This was so easy and the house smelled so good when I walked in from work. I served it on top of Recipe #225584. Next time Id' like to stir in some cooked rice to soak up the creamy sauce. Thanks for posting Andrea. Made for My3Chefs Nov '09.

I currently live in West Virginia. I have two daughters, 10 and 7 yrs. I teach 4th grade at the small elementary school that they attend.

Shortly before the birth of my youngest daughter, I started becoming interested in cooking, with great thanks to this site. I love trying new things. I used to collect cookbooks, and I still have quite a few, but since I've been a member of food.com, I have to admit that I don't use them much anymore. This is so much easier!

In addition to cooking, I enjoy spending time with my girls, reading, and shopping. I'm also a big Virginia Tech fan, hence my user name. It's where I went to school, so my loyalty lives on!
