Mocha Coffee Creamer

"Wonderful Christmas gift ideas, flavored coffee creamers to go along with pretty coffee cups and your favorite coffee blend. Adding the liquid extracts to the dry ingredients should not be worrisome with this helpful tip. Place dry ingredients in a jar, sprinkle the wet ingredients over the dry, close lid tightly and shake well for about 20-30 seconds. Include a card with instructions, 1-2 tablespoons of creamer per mug and your gift is ready for giving. This recipe was adapted from a cooking information and recipe website."

  1. Very rich! This would be good in just hot milk, without the coffee. Loved the orange and nutmeg (I doubled the nutmeg :) ) I cut the recipe in half and it still made lots. The 4 mugs in the yield is more like 4 cups! I used Splenda for the powdered sugar. Made for Winter 2010 Comfort Cafe game.

  2. well as if I don't drink enough coffee now I am guzzling down even more with this added mix, I only made half a recipe since it was my first time, I'm sorry that I didn't make the full amount, this is just way too good, I plan on making this to give as gifts over the holidays as well as use myself, thanks for this great mix hon!...Kitten

  3. Delicious. I made the full amount and it makes LOTS! I'll be in mocha for quite awhile (I can think of far worse things!). Super easy, just mix it and add as much as you would like to your coffee. The only thing I changed was to replace the orange extract with dried orange bits and Splenda for the sugar.

  4. This was wonderful. I loved. When I first made it, I didn't have the orange extract, and out of curiosity tried it that way, too. Both are excellent, but the extract adds something almost softer to it. I loved it. Aussiekarin

  5. I made this as agift and forgot to save a bit to try myself. My batch included Splenda in lieu of the powdered sugar (used about 3/4 cupsince it's a bit sweeter) and a reduced fat non-dairy creamer. To get the orange extract mixed in I first sprinkled it across the the top and kept raking the mix using a fork. The smell of the blend was just great. Thanks Lauralie.
