Mocha Mint Coffee

"The Coffee Fluff Shake turned out to be such a popular idea that I decided to enter more coffee treats. While I am sorely tempted, DH & I are NY resolved to only indulge for VERY SPECIAL occasions, so I hope some of you will be sorely tempted enough to try this & the 3 that accompany it. My source for all 4 is worldwidemart.com. Enjoy!"

  1. This was utterly delicious. I loved it, thank you for sharing another winner my friend. So good. Made exactly as written and wouldn't change a thing. You are one of my two favorite Coffee Queens. Made FYC Tag Game 2014.

  2. This is absolutely fantastic. It made for a delicious treat yesterday. I did not change a thing in this recipe. Made for football pool.

  3. Twiss, you angel. This is wonderful. I made a single serving and used half the creme de menthe which provided a lovely mint coolness with less alcohol and sugar content. I used 98% fat free/no sugar added ice cream (vanilla was all I could get) with a 1/2 tsp of coco powder and a cup of frozen chocolate flavored coffee cubes. It all took a couple of mins in the Vita Mix and gave me a smooth, creamy and cooling summer treat. Twiss find (or invent) a VERY SPECIAL occasion and try this!!

  4. This is actually one of those recipes that is too good! my DH loved this as weekend treat, this is extremely filling and rich so a small amount will go a long way, thanks twissis!...Kitten:)

  5. Okay, so I didn't exactly stay totally true to the recipe! I halved it and then I added ice and a little more creme de menthe and another scoop of ice cream. It came out like an iced coffee. I'm eating it right now with a spoon and it is delicious! But cold! Thank you twissis!!

I am an American transplanted from Dallas to Iceland by marriage to a native Icelander & I retired to become his "Kitchen Queen". We love to entertain our family & friends, so I have an eclectic collection of recipes. I especially love simple, easy-fix, flexible & make-ahead recipes - BUT also like challenging myself on occasion. I enjoy baking & food photography. I am devoted to the "More is Always Better Principle" & apply it liberally to bacon, butter & garlic. I can have ingredient issues due to availability here in Iceland & my DH is medically diet-restricted from some ingredients as well. Either situation might require me to modify a recipe, but I will do my best to be true to your recipes & fair/honest in my reviews. Mary Pat (aka twissis)
