Directions

  1. Mix garlic powder and Italian seasoning in a little dish.
  2. Place an egg roll wrapper on your work surface with a point facing you.
  3. Place a piece of cheese near the bottom corner.
  4. Sprinkle a pinch of seasoning mix over cheese stick and wrapper.
  5. Fold bottom corner of wrapper over cheese; roll up just until cheese is enclosed.
  6. Fold sides of wrapper over top.
  7. Using a pastry brush or your finger, wet the top corner of the wrapper with water.
  8. Roll up tightly to seal.
  9. Repeat with remaining wrappers and cheese sticks.
  10. In a large skillet heat oil to 375 degrees.
  11. Fry sticks a few at a time for 1 minute, or until golden; turning occasionally.
  12. Serve warm with marinara sauce.
