Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 medium jicama
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt

Directions

  1. Peel jicama.
  2. Slice into matchsticks (a mandolin is very helpful for this).
  3. Fry in small batches until crispy in oil heated to 350 degrees. It usually only takes one or two minutes. Large batches may get soggy.
  4. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle generously with good-quality garlic salt.
