Ingredients Nutrition

  • 12 cup flour
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup dried currant, soaked in boiling water for 1 hour and then drained
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 (9 inch) pie crusts, baked
  • 12 cup nuts, chopped

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, dilute flour, molasses and water with a whisk. Heat and stir constantly until the mixture thickens well.
  2. Remove from the heat, add raisins and butter. Stir well.
  3. Pour in a baked pie crust and sprinkle with nuts.
