Molasses Feather Cake

"I haven't tried this one yet, but it is on my to-do list, it certainly does sound easy enough for me!! I have yet to try one of Crosby Molasses recipes that I haven't liked, I always soup it up with my favorite icing or topping or fresh fruit, and away we go!!"

  • Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt into mixing bowl. Blend in shortening, molasses, eggs, and flavoring. Beat 2 minutes by hand or by electric mixer. Add milk and beat 2 more minutes. Pour into well-greased layer cake pans.
  • Bake at 375F for 25 minutes.

Her sweets are fantastics, especially her pound cakes, Yummm <br> <br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
