Molasses Whole Wheat Spelt for Bread Machine

"This is my first attempt of creating my own recipe. I've experimented a lot with the moisture level to prevent the bread from cratering. This creates a pretty dense loaf that slices thin and isn't too crumbly. Makes great toast or a hearty sandwich bread. Has notes of yeast and is not too bitter or too sweet. Your feedback is definitely appreciated!"

  1. I am so sorry for this negative review but I am upset and a bit ticked off. The reason is because I wasted expensive ingredients on a bread that is not even edible. The molasses was overwhelming for the taste buds and the recipe uses way too much flour. Take this recipe off the internet and save someone else the bitter disappointment please!!! To be fair I also asked my hubby to taste it and like me, he couldn't even swallow it. I followed the recipe exactly as directed. I will go back to my regular spelt bread recipe. I would rate this a negative but there isn't that option. Again, sorry for being brutally honest.
