Mom T's Almond Crescent Cookies

"This is my mom's recipe. We only make it at Christmas as a special treat. It is well worth the wait each year. We usually double or triple this recipes as it does not make alot."

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolk and flour. Finally add the nuts.
  • Shape into crescents about 2" long.
  • Bake on greased cookies sheet for 20 minutes.
  • Cool on cookie sheet. When cooled enough to handle roll in confectioners sugar and place on cooling rack.
