I recently had a hamburger at a flea market (of all places...) that was delicious. Discovered she precooked the burgers, then let them simmer in a crockpot full of onion soup. This seems an easy way to feed people arriving at different times; provide a few sauces and condiments, let family and guests make their own...most people will think it's delicious, and you have time to socialize, get on-line and read recipes, etc!
