“My mom made this recipe up, and it is definitely a family favorite! I made it for my roommates last year, and recently began making it for my husband. He loves them and said they are definitely the best hot wings he's had. You can also bake the chicken at 350 for 30 minutes instead of frying. This sauce covers as much chicken as you need so its extremely versatile. my mom will also cut up chicken patties and cover them with the sauce. Hope you enjoy!”

Directions

  1. Combine coating mixture and coat chicken pieces.
  2. Refrigerate coated chicken for at least 1 hour.
  3. Meanwhile combine sauce ingredients over low heat until margarine is completely melted.
  4. Coat chicken in leftover flour mixture.
  5. Deep fry chicken in 375 degree oil for 13 minutes.
  6. Drain on paper towel and place in bowl and toss with sauce.
  7. Repeat with remaining chicken.
