"This is a delicous extra moist and apple-ly cake. I have always made it for my Mom's Birthday party! Wonderful with a sprinkling of cinnamon/sugar or powdered sugar on top, plain, or iced with cream cheese frosing."

Yields:: 1 9x13 cake

ingredients

¹⁄₂ cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 tablespoons cinnamon
¹⁄₂ teaspoon salt
2 eggs
2 cups flour
4 cups peeled diced apples

directions

Cream butter and sugar.
Add baking soda, cinnamon, salt and eggs.
Mix in flour.
Add apples.
Pour in a 9 x 13 pan.
Bake at 350F degrees for 45-50 minutes.
If desired, ice with cream cheese frosting.
