Mom's Dinner Rolls

"This is a recipe from my childhood. My mother made this every Thankgiving and Christmas. I don't know where she got the recipe from I just know them as Mom's. This dough is some what sweet like the Hawaiian bread they sell at the super market I think."

  1. This recipe tastes good, but the instructions leave alot to be desired. I am an intermediate bread baker, so I was able to guess what I should use the water for (dissolving the yeast), that I should knead the dough before letting it rise the first time to get the proper consistency (smooth and elastic) and that it would take about an hour to double in size each time. If the author would clarify the instructions more, this would be a four star recipe.

I am a stay at home mom. I live here in West Tn. I am origanially from Arizona so I am still trying to learn southern cooking instead of southwestern cooking (what a big difference). I like to cook and bake and do crafts. Right now I am redecorating my home I just moved into. The kitchen is my biggest project....lol so far this is my favorite site to come to:) hope to learn lots here.
