Mom's Easy Marinated Four Bean Salad

- 16 ounces cut green beans
- 16 ounces cut wax beans
- 16 ounces red kidney beans
- 16 ounces garbanzo beans
- 1 (4 ounce) jar diced pimentos
- 1⁄2 cup diced red peppers or 1/2 cup green pepper
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 2⁄3 cup vinegar
- 1⁄3 cup salad oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
directions
- Drain beans, and put in a large bowl.
- Combine sugar, vinegar, salad oil, salt, and pepper.
- Pour mixture over beans, and toss.
- Chill overnight.
- Before serving, tossing again, and drain.

I love how cooking brings people together, whether it's sharing recipes or sharing a special meal.
