Mom's Favorite Oat and Raisin Cookies

"This is a healthy cookie recipe that still tastes good! It comes from a school cookbook and has been enjoyed by my family and friends. Next time I make them, I think I will try substituting unsweetened applesauce for the butter and add some ground flax seed."

  • Combine first 5 ingredients.
  • Cream next 4 together then add to oat mixture.
  • Add final 3 ingredients.
  • Drop by teaspoonful onto lightly greased baking sheets.
  • Flatten slightly.
  • Bake at 350°F for 8-12 minutes or until golden.
