Mom's Ginger Tots

ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1⁄4 cups brown sugar
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 3 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon lemon flavoring
- 2 teaspoons powdered ginger
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt

ICING
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 2 cups icing sugar
directions
- Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add eggs.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, salt and ginger. Mix into butter mixture. Add flavoring, then work and knead. Chill in fridge.
- Form into small balls the size of marbles. Place two inches apart on well greased sheet; press with fork and bake at 375F for 8-10 minutes.
- ICING: Combine butter, lemon juice and icing sugar; spread between cookie halves. Enjoy!

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
