  1. Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
  2. In another bowl mix baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, cloves, and flour.
  3. Alternate adding the flour mixture, and buttermilk to sugar mixture.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
