  1. These were great. The batter is so light and they bake up wonderfully. I even went out and bought a new waffle iron just so we could have these more often.

  2. Hadn't had waffles in ages and we have this sandwich/waffle machine we hadly ever use, so this was our special for Sunday breaky this week. Probably because the sandwich/waffle machine is smaller than the regular waffle makers, the recipe made a lot of waffles!! 15!! So we enjoyed three a piece,(more than we should've), and I packaged the rest and froze them, they will make a good quick, in the toaster, breaky later. This was a good basic waffle recipe, thanks for sharing!

  3. Wonderful waffles. Light and fluffy and cooked perfectly. I was drawn to your recipe because of the Mickey Mouse picture. We have the Disney Cinderella waffle maker they sold in their stores YEARS ago but the waffles are so big that I never have enough mix for my family of 5. I doubled this recipe and it was PERFECT!

  4. The last time I made waffles was when DS was about 4. He's 16 now & his baby sis just turned 3 so I pulled out the waffle makers. One for the adults & the Mickey Mouse for the toddler. :) Since it's Sunday today, this seemed like the appropriate recipe. We were not disappointed! This very light batter created a slightly crunchy exterior & a soft & fluffy interior. Delish! Thanks for sharing, crossforcrash!
