- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 cups macaroni noodles
- 1⁄2 cup onion, chopped up
- 1⁄2 - 1 teaspoon pepper, to taste
- 1⁄2 - 1 teaspoon salt, to taste
- 3 -4 cups water
- 1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes, cut up
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 garlic clove, chopped up
directions
- In a large deep skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped up clove of garlic, (then drain the fat).
- In a large pot, boil the macaroni noodles til al dente, drain the water from the noodles.
- Then add the macaroni noodles to the ground beef mixture, stir in the chopped onion, cut up whole tomatoes, tomato paste, stir until paste is dissolved.
- Add in the salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook for about 20-30 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy.
