Directions

  1. Cut lettuce.
  2. add sliced onion and sugar, toss.
  3. Fry bacon till crisp- remove from pan.
  4. Drain and crumble bacon.
  5. Add vinegar and water to bacon grease- let come to a boil.
  6. Pour over lettuce onion and bacon.
  7. Mix well.
  8. Serve at once.
