1. Ok..I have to admit that I made some minor alterations...but isn't that the beauty of recipes like this..such versatility!
Anyway...I used fresh hokkien noodles as they were sat in my fridge begging to be used, and I subbed snow peas for green beans, and finely chopped chillies for the sambal.
I also added about 1/4 cup water to the veggies as they were stir frying to create some steam-I find that it helps them to cook.
This whole dish came together beautifully-it looked wonderful and tasted fantastic. The family virtually inhaled this as it tasted so good.
DH took the leftovers to work for lunch and raved about them again!
Great recipe Pat-thanks for posting!
Made for PRMR.

 2. Haven't made this yet but was looking for a comparable recipe to one i saw in a Weight Watchers Magazine. Essentially the same ingredients but they marinated the beef in 2 cloves crushed garlic,2 tsp fresh minced ginger,1 Tbsp soy sauce, and 1 tsp sesame oil for 20 mins before cooking. I think this sounds like a fine idea as I hate tough meat in a stirfry!! Will review again when I have made it!!

 3. I didn't have green beans but made as written otherwise. Perfect spiciness for us and only had a little bit leftover. Did serve with noodles but could also use rice.

 4. Very, very tasty. This is a good way to cook this cut of meat. Thanks for posting!

With the demise of the forums and with no more interaction on site with what was a great community and it was a pleasure to get to know so many of you over the years and to have had the privilege of meeting some of you in person. For me now this is just another recipe site like to many on the net, it has lost its specialness, such a pity especially when Scripps changed the name from Recipezaar to Food.com and made this statement sorry cannot replicate here as considered invalid but they basically said yes the community was valuable hence .com was short for community but it was a pack of lies as they were not willing to put the money into that community and got rid of the forums which was the community so for .com has become .crap.
