  • Preheat oven to 250.
  • Combine everything and bring to a boil. Cook gently 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Pour into oven proof dish or pan and bake, uncovered in a slow oven, 250, for 2 hours or until thick, stirring occasionally.
  • Pour into hot jars and seal.
  • Comment: if keeping on the shelf used standard canning methods.
