Directions

  1. Cream butter.
  2. Add sugars; mix well.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
  4. Add flour, soda, salt, oatmeal and nuts and mix well.
  5. Shape into rolls on waxed paper.
  6. Chill in refrigerator or freezer.
  7. Slice 1/4-inch thick.
  8. Bake 10 minutes at 350°F.
  9. Yield: 5 dozen cookies.
