ingredients
- 3 cups hot water
- 3⁄4 cup bottled lime juice
- 1⁄2 cup corn syrup
- 1⁄4 cup granulated sugar
- 1⁄4 cup bottled lemon juice
- 1 drop yellow food coloring
directions
- Combine all ingredients in a 2-quart pitcher and mix until sugar is dissolved. Store covered in refrigerator.

My husband loves Whiskey Sours and here in Canada we are no longer able to find the bottled sour mix! I made 2 batches of this recipe last night. The first time I made exactly as posted and though my husband said it was good, he felt it had too much lime. The next batch I cut the lime juice from 3/4 cup to 2/3 and he says it's perfect! Thank you for posting the recipe! :)

I am finally learning how to cook thanks to recipezaar! I haven't really made up any of my own recipes yet, but I have made a lot of the ones posted on here. Asian food is my favorite thing to make, and I also enjoy making desserts (especially cheesecake). I am amazed by how easy it has been for me to learn how to cook. I always used to think cooking was so hard and time-consuming, but I learned that once you have all the ingredients and proper equipment on hand it's not very difficult. I used to only cook stuff in the microwave or in the crockpot, but since I joined recipezaar I have been working my way up to more and more challenging recipes.
