Mrs. Jewell's Sugar Molasses Cookies
"This has been a favorite of mine since I was a child. These have less sugar than the original, but I never miss it. I have no idea who Mrs. Jewell was. I believe my mom got this recipe from a neighbor."

- 1. Cream Butter and Sugar.
- 2. Add eggs and molasses and mix well.
- 3. Add remaining ingredients except flour and mix well.
- 4. Add flour 1 cup at a time. Dough will be very stiff.
- 5. Chill
- 6. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 7. Roll teaspoon of dough into small ball and place on cookie sheet.
- 8. Bake at 350 deg. for 7-9 minutes.
