  1. This is so good! I left out the celery though because I don't like it cooked. I used 4 tablespoons of chili powder. DH likes it hot! Thanks :)

  2. Great Chili Recipe!

  3. I have prepared this chili numerous times and it always turns out great! I even placed 3rd in my first ever chili cookoff with this recipe. It is easy to make, and I usually prepare it in a crockpot so it's ready when I get home from work.

  4. This is the best chili I have ever had! I made it today for a family gathering and everyone loved it. I too omitted the water and added another can of tomato sauce. I had a little more than 2 lbs. of ground beef (more like 2 1/2 lbs). It came out great and was very easy to make. I will definitely make this again.

  5. Wow, this made my superbowl party GREAT. The best chili I have ever tasted. The only thing I added was ground cayenne pepper because I love my chili HOT.

Tweaks

  1. All I can say is WOW! We are chili lovers in my family and all I can say is this is the best chili we've ever had. It lasted us three days but we ate every bit. I followed a reviewers advice and substituted the water with another can of tomato sauce because we like thicker chili as well. I wouldn't change anything else about it. Highly recommend chili lovers trying this recipe. Thanks!

  2. Very good chili! I made a few changes, though. Instead of the water, I added another can of tomato sauce, because I like my chili thicker. I also probably used a bit more than 2lbs of beef. I only used 1 teaspoon of salt, and that was plenty. I really enjoyed this, and I am going to try freezing some. Thanks.
