Mulled Dr. Pepper

"When I was a teen back in the late '60's we would take Dr. Pepper and heat it on the stove, add a slice of lemon and boy was it good in the winter. This recipe reminded me of that and sounds interesting."

  • In a 3-qt. slow cooker, combine all ingredients; mix well.
  • Cover and cook on low for 2 hours or until desired temperature is reached.
  • discard cloves and cinnamon sticks before serving.
  • Yield: 8-10 servings.
