  1. Yummy little tarts. I made 12 minis and 3 in regular muffin cups. Both sizes were done at 18 minutes. We all actually liked the bigger ones more, they're more flavorful. Used sweet onion in place of the greens. My only complaint is that they needed salt. Next time I'll add 1/4 - 1/2 tsp to the filling. I love the thyme. And they're actually better once they cool off IMO. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I made these alongside 8 other appetizers for a dinner party I was having and these were the _only_ ones to be consumed entirely and to have seconds [thirds, and fourths!] requested!

  3. I am so glad I found these again! My KA recipe books are packed away, and I want to make these for Thanksgiving this year. These are wonderful!! I made these 2 times, and they were a huge hit both times. Thank you for posting this recipe.

  4. Fabulous! These were easy to make and great to eat. On the rich side, as all my favorite appetizers seem to be. I held the cheese out of the mix, and sprinkled it in the bottoms and then after filling with the mushroom mix, on top of the tartlets. Thanks for a keeper!

I am... ~a mother of 2 kids (19 and 22) who are extremely picky eaters. The mere mention of "healthy" sends them running in the opposite direction. They prefer the creamy, cheesy, fried stuff that they weren't brought up on! ~a wife of a wonderful man who fights an expanding waistline and will lovingly eat most anything I set before him. Everything is 5 stars to him. :) He's the easiest customer a cook could ask for! ~a teacher who tends to reach for comfort foods to relieve stress. I am a middle school reading specialist. The miracles I see on a daily basis keeps me going! But it's also stressful, so keep me away from the cookie jar! I really have to fight off the sugary, fat-laden stuff that has no worth beyond the momentary comfort in my mouth. ~and I'm also a daughter who was brought up on home cooked meals back when calories meant nothing and taste was everything! That is an idea built into my system that's hard to shake! My mother raised 8 kids (I'm #7) on her home-cooking and I always teased her that she didn't raise a single skinny kid! I luckily inherited her great love of cooking and baking. (I miss you Mom!) ~finally, I'm "mom" to the best Bichon in the world. He is Quincy, our kid in a dogsuit.
