Mushroom Pate
"From a lovely charity cookbook to raise funds for Malawi, it was compiled by a lovely Scottish midwife and it is full of easy recipes that she and her family love. This is a simple recipe with not too many ingredients which gives lovely results. This is best served after a few hours chilling time and is delicious n toast or crackers."

ingredients
- 150 g butter
- 225 g mushrooms, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 25 g fresh breadcrumbs, white
- 110 g cream cheese, philadelphia
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- nutmeg, pinch
- salt
- pepper
directions
- Melt butter in a pan.
- Add onion and mushroom, cook for 10 mins till softened.
- Add remaining ingredients and liquidise.
- Chill before serving.

I love my job and find it both challenging and rewarding. I enjoy cooking and have, after a period of low enthusiasm, started to cook more and more new recipes that I have found online.
