Ingredients: 1 lb kidney bean; 4 garlic cloves, minced; 1 large onion, chopped; 1 lb linguica sausage, skinned and chopped; 1 lb ground beef; 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste; 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce; 14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes; 1 cup red wine; 1 tablespoon ground cumin; 1 tablespoon chili powder; 1/2 teaspoon cayenne (optional)

ingredients

1 lb kidney bean
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 large onion, chopped
1 lb linguica sausage, skinned and chopped
1 lb ground beef
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
14 ¹⁄₂ ounces diced tomatoes
1 cup red wine
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon chili powder
¹⁄₂ teaspoon cayenne (optional)

directions

Cook beans, garlic and onions according to package directions, salt to taste. Brown linguica and ground beef in a large frying pan. Drain well and add remaining ingredients and simmer about thirty minutes. Taste and correct seasonings.
