Directions

  1. Cook ground beef and onion in dutch oven until beef is browned, stirring to crumble.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, except beans.
  3. Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
  4. Stir in beans and continue to cook, covered, 45 minutes.
  5. Remove cover and cook 15 minutes more.
  6. Makes 2 quarts.
