ingredients
- 88.74 ml butter, softened
- 709.77 ml powdered sugar
- 59.14 ml milk
- 4.92 ml vanilla extract
- 2.46 ml almond extract
- food coloring (optional)
directions
- Cream together butter and sugar. Slowly mix in milk, then vanilla and almond.
- Whisk until fluffy.
- Can be spread or piped onto cookies.
- Icing will begin to harden in less than 30 minutes. Wait a few hours before stacking iced cookies.

Love the almond flavoring in this icing! Go easy if you're using regular food coloring because it can make it a tiny bit runny if you use more than a few drops. We iced our World's Best Butter Cookies (recipe #50684) with these, then put the icing in little zip-top bags and cut a tiny bit of the corner off to pipe on the detail. They turned out beautifully!
